De’Aaron Fox Highlights, Rankings and Announcement Details

De'Aaron Fox

First of all, let’s feast our eyes on this amazing talent. Left-handed John Wall? Perhaps. This kid is in that ultimate top-shelf level of talent. Check it…

He looks like the proto-typical John Calipari guard with his quickness, his ability to finish at the rim and his nice outside stroke. Something about a lefty taking a shot that is pretty.

Check out where he’s ranked on a couple of services right now.

ESPN has him ranked 7th nationally. (If he was considering Duke, I’m sure ESPN would rank him higher;)

Yahoo has him ranked 5th nationally and still has Arizona and NC State listed despite other services removing them from their list.

His most recent finalists include Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, and Kansas.

This is from ESPNU concerning the announcement:

“ESPNU will televise the college announcements of two ESPN 100 top 15 college basketball recruits — No. 7 De’Aaron Fox (Cypress Lakes High School, Texas) and No. 13 T.J. Leaf (Foothills Christian High School, Calif.) — during a one-hour ESPN Recruiting Nation: Basketball Signing Day Special on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. ET. Fox, a 6’3’’ point guard, is expected to choose among Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, and LSU. Leaf, a 6’9’’ power forward, is expected to choose among Oregon, San Diego State and UCLA.”

Most recruiting experts have De’Aaron Fox as a UK lock, but, until he picks that hat we can only hope he makes the decision to be NEXT!
