Owensboro, Kentucky got meet Derek Willis, Isaac Humphries and Mychal Muldertoday for a signing at the Wildcat Wearhouse. All three guys were super nice and the crowd was loud and proud representing #BBN. Sometimes we forget these are kids, it’s nice that they take their time to make some kids(and adults)smile and have some fun on an overcast Saturday afternoon. Comments Off on Derek Willis, Isaac Humphries, Mychal Mulder Signing In Owensboro – Exclusive Interviews
Kentucky fans remember this crazy moment in the Texas A & M game that featured Pat Adams giving Isaac Humphries a “T” at a crucial moment of the game. Isaac had just had his career game and Pat Adams decided to make the game and show about him. No one agreed with the technical foul.
Our very own @KYCrazyAaron has said Pat Adams is the worst official in basketball for years. Well, now the nation seems to be catching up with this assessment.
Now, on to a bizarre situation during the Green Bay vs. Valparaiso game. Green Bay announcer, Matt Menzl, was in the middle of calling the game when Pat Adams took offense at something Matt had done during the game. The audio below details the exchange. Matt, being the only announcer for Green Bay, was replaced after the commercial break by the Oakland play-by-play announcer. After Menzl explained to UWGB athletic director Mary Ellen Gillespie and Horizon League spokesman Bill Potter, Potter told Menzl to go back and do his job and they would deal with it.

Craig Pinkerton, spokesperson for the SEC, made this statement regarding the technical foul attributed to Isaac Humphries during the 79-77 loss to Texas A&M. Here is his statement:
“The official determined the Kentucky player committed an unsportsmanlike act in violation of Rule 10, Section 3, a Class A Unsporting Technical Infraction, resulting in the awarding of two free throws to Texas A&M.”
Here are the two possible parts of the rule that could apply, but, do not seem to fit very well with the explanation from the SEC.
* “Disrespectfully addressing an official or gesturing in such a manner as to indicate resentment.”
* “Using profanity or vulgarity; taunting, baiting or ridiculing another player or bench personnel; or pointing a finger at or making obscene gestures toward another player or bench personnel.”
Players couldn’t understand why I wasn’t mad about the loss yesterday. They’ve never seen me this way after a game like that.
