Jerry indicates the following in his most recent report:
“It is practically a foregone conclusion that Diallo will enroll in a college at for the second semester. He wants to play right away and not sit out, but he has not been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse yet and it is not a certainty that he will be cleared in time. So there is the possibility of training with a team during the second half of the season but not participating in games. His desire, however, is to play right away.”

Most are now saying Diallo has switched from an almost guarantee UCONN get to a Kentucky lock. The announcement should come soon with the NCAA having to work quickly to get him eligible for this coming semester.

Evan Daniel’s bio:
After graduating in May 2007 from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Daniels signed on with Scout.com, as a Basketball Recruiting Analyst. In September 2010, Daniels took the reigns as Scout.com’s National Recruiting Analyst and in 2014 was promoted to Director of Basketball Recruiting. Prior to getting picked up full time at Scout.com, he worked for Prepstars, logged experience in television news, as an intern at CBS affiliate WLKY and was a sports anchor at Western Kentucky University’s student-run news station. Daniels is a voting member on the USA Basketball Men’s Developmental National Team, McDonald’s All-American and the Naismith Boy’s High School Basketball Player of the Year committees.
